City Council Candidate Statement: Ken Stephens

Each Los Alamitos City Council candidate's statement will appear on the November ballot.

Editor's note: Patch is publishing one candidate statement each day. This is the statement voters will see on the ballot in November. Order of publication is determined by the order in which candidate names will appear on the ballot.

Statements have not been altered.

City Council Candidate: Ken Stephens

I am currently an elected City Council representative and have held a full time position for over 40 years as General Manager and owner of Health and Fitness businesses in Southern California. My business and management experience has helped me maximize the productivity of existing City assets as well as provide insight into sound fiscal policy. My family chose Los Alamitos many years ago as a safe place to raise our children for its unique small town atmosphere.

I am asking for your support in this election so I can continue to help maintain our Los Alamitos Quality of Life.

As an advocate for our Local Police and Fire Department I know we can maintain the level of public safety we have become accustom to expect.

During my term as Mayor, I have promoted new Recreation Opportunities for our Children and Seniors.

As a longtime resident of Los Alamitos, I ask for your vote to help our City move forward for a better tomorrow.

Tomorrow: City Council candidate Demi Devaney
