Authorities Identify Motorcyclist Killed on 405 Freeway in Seal Beach
The causes of the Wednesday crash are still unknown.
Authorities today identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on the northbound 405 Freeway near the westbound Garden Grove 22 Freeway in Seal Beach.
The accident occurred about 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, the California Highway Patrol reported. Larry Angelo, 68, of Fontana, died at the scene, according to the Coroner Division of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The motorcycle crashed for an unknown reason, and the man was then struck by another vehicle, according to a preliminary investigation. Two freeway lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted.
