Alert: Daytime Freeway Closures to Tie up Traffic

Officials urge locals to expect congestion near intersection of Seal Beach Boulevard and the 405 with closures affecting the 22 and 605 Freeways.

Expect more traffic delays in Seal Beach starting Tuesday.

Rare daytime freeway closures are expected to jam up traffic where several freeways converge at the Los Angeles and Orange County borders.

Authorities advise locals to watch for congestion at the intersection of the 405 Freeway and Seal Beach Boulevard starting at about 9 a.m. March 12.

Construction crews will conduct daytime pile-driving activities next to the connector for the next two weeks.
