A 75-year-old woman accused of driving drunk and killing an 86-year-old man in Leisure World is scheduled for a pretrial hearing Friday.
Dale Snyder Quinn faces a charge of gross vehicular manslaughter for her alleged role in a May 20 incident which claimed the life of Robert Dillon, who was crossing the street at St. Andrews Drive and Tam O'Shanter Road on a battery-operated scooter.
Dillon was pronounced dead eight days after the collision.
Prosecutors allege Quinn had a blood-alcohol content of 0.22 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08, an hour after the crash.
Quinn, who pleaded not guilty Nov. 20, faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
Quinn is out of custody on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at Dept. C42 in the Central Justice Center 700 W. Civic Center Drive according to court records.
