A water main burst at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Dolphin Avenue today.
The small river flowed at least as far as Ocean and Electric Avenue.
The pipe broke around 2:30 p.m. and the city received the first call about it at 2:45 p.m. according to Sean Crumby, assistant city manager.
"We dispatched a crew, and they were able to turn off the water," Crumby said.
Crumby said he expects city workers to have repairs completed by next week, but, he added, local residences won't see any loss of H20.
"We were able to turn off the water without any homes (becoming) 'not in service," Crumby said.
As you can see, Patch was there to snap a pic of the watery goings-on.
If you see something like that in your community, please tell us about it or snap a pic yourself.
We can't cover it if we don't know about it. And we want to know about it.
