No one was injured Wednesday morning a vehicle erupted in flames at Los Alamitos High School this morning just before first period classes began.

“No one was hurt. It was parked in a remote area of the campus, and it didn’t damage any other cars,” Stone said. “The truck itself was a total loss.”

After parking at the school, the driver noticed smoke coming from underneath his dashboard, said Stone. The fire started right after he got out of the car. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames within 10 minutes, Stoned added.
