Two-Car Wreck on the 405 Leaves Car Facing the Wrong Way

No one was hurt in the collision, which slowed traffic temporarily on the southbound 405 Freeway in Seal Beach Monday.

With the holiday traffic light, a two-car collision on the 405 Freeway that left one car facing the wrong direction had minimal impact on freeway traffic.

No one was injured in the accident on the southbound side of the freeway at Seal Beach Boulevard just after noon on Labor Day, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A dark gray SUV and a white Toyota Camry collided. A red sedan managed to avoid the crash but ended up facing the wrong way in the carpool lane, according to the CHP. The wreck was cleared to the right shoulder within 20 minutes of crash, and traffic was slowed only slightly.
