Transient With Shopping Cart Weaving Through PCH Traffic

Here are five odd, interesting or important crime calls listed by the Seal Beach Police Department recently.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

  • 11/19/2012 — 6:48 a.m. — Someone broke the window of a white Lexus 330 and stole a purse and bag the previous day.  

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

  • 11/19/2012 — 4:32 p.m. — A caller’s 41-year-old son threatened the caller and kicked him or her. The son was described as 41 years old with brown hair and wearing a gray-striped shirt and black pants. 

TRAFFIC COLLISSION - NO INJURIES

  • 11/19/2012 — 4:50 p.m. — McKinney Way — An unkown vehicle hit the caller’s 2010 Toyota Camry. No note was left.

TRAFFIC HAZARD 

  • 11/19/2012 – 9:13 p.m. – Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street – A transient with a shopping cart was weaving in and out of lanes heading northbound on PCH. The subject had long brown hair and was wearing army fatigues. The caller said he or she almost hit the transient.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

  • 11/19/2012 — 9:23 p.m. — Ocean Avenue — A caller and his friend were taking a walk and were reportedly followed by a woman in her mid-50s in a long red dress.
