Tonight's Road, Ramp and Freeway Closures

Here's which freeways, ramps and roads will be closed in and around Seal Beach, Rossmoor and Los Alamitos tonight.

FREEWAY CLOSURE

• SB I-405 Freeway between Seal Beach Blvd. and Bosla Chica Rd.  (Closed Aug. 30 from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday)
   
  • DETOUR: From the SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd. (stay in the right lane) and proceed south, turn left on Westminster Ave., continue east on Westminster Ave. to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd., then turn right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp

ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES

• Seal Beach Blvd. between Old Ranch Pkwy. and North Gate Rd. (Closed tonight from 10 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday)
  
  
  • DETOUR: Seal Beach Blvd. will be accessible Friday and Saturday night. On Sunday night, Aug. 26 motorists will be directed to use Valley View St. or Studebaker Rd. in order to bypass Seal Beach Blvd. 

CONNECTOR CLOSURES

• EB SR-22 to SB I-405 Connector (Two-week closure)
  
  
  • DETOUR: The EB SR-22 connector to the SB I-405 freeway will be closed for the next two weeks. For more information visit the project website or click here to print out a map of recommended detours. 

• SB I-605 to SB I-405 Connector (Closed tonight from 11 p.m and 5 a.m. Friday)
  
  
  • DETOUR: From the SB I-605 exit Studebaker Rd. (stay in the right lane) and proceed south, turn left on Westminster Ave. then left on Seal Beach Blvd. to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR from Westminster Ave. turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd., then right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp

RAMP CLOSURES 

• WB SR-22 Valley View St. On-Ramps (Closed tonight, between 10 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday)

    DETOUR: From Valley View St. proceed north, turn left on Katella Ave. and continue west to access the NB I-605 freeway on-ramp OR continue west on Katella Ave. / Willow St., turn left on Palo Verde Ave. and proceed south to access the NB I-405 freeway on-ramp

• SB I-405 Seal Beach Blvd. On-Ramp (Closed tonight, between 10 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday)
  
  
  • DETOUR: From Seal Beach Blvd. head south, turn left on Westminster Ave. and continue east to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp

• SB I-405 Seal Beach Blvd. Off-Ramp (Closed tonight, between 10 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday)
  
  
  • DETOUR: From the SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd. (stay in the right lane) and proceed south, turn left on E. 2nd Street / Westminster Ave. and continue to Seal Beach Blvd.
