12/12/12 – 9:22 AM – 11700 Paseo Bonita – A report of a vehicle taken without authorization sometime overnight.
AUTO BURGLARY
12/9/12 – 11:52 AM – 3500 Cerritos Ave. – A report of a vehicle window smash and a loss of property from inside sometime during the prior two hours.
12/10/12 – 7:50 AM – 4200 Cerritos Ave. – A report of two work trucks having their locks broken and a loss of property from inside sometime overnight.
12/12/12 – 7:39 PM – 5300 Katella Ave. – A report of a vehicle window smash with a loss of property from inside during the prior hour.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT
12/10/12 – 8:01 AM – 5200 Katella Ave. – A report of a storage container lock being broken and a loss of property from inside sometime overnight.
12/10/12 – 11:10 AM – 4400 Howard – A report of someone attempting to force entry into a laundry room sometime overnight.
12/11/12 – 2:47 PM – 3400 Katella Ave. – A report of a person posing as a customer who walked out of a business with property during the prior ten minutes.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
12/10/12 – 8:55 PM – 11100 Bennington – A report of someone forcing open a rear kitchen window and taking property from inside sometime during the prior three hours.
12/12/12 – 8:02 PM – 10400 El Dorado – A report of someone entering a residence through an unlocked rear sliding door and taking property during the day.
DUI
12/11/12 – 11:12 PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Katella Ave. – Vehicle check. A 29-year-old Long Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
12/13/12 – 11:24 PM – 5000 Katella Ave. – Traffic stop. A 54-year-old Torrance man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
12/12/12 – 11:42 AM – Katella Ave. and Siboney – Traffic stop. A 56-year-old Huntington Beach man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and a 43-year-old Cypress man was arrested for outstanding warrants.
THEFT
12/15/12 – 7:40 AM – 3000 Marna – A report of an unauthorized person entering an unlocked vehicle and ransacking the interior, but taking nothing.
12/14/12 – 8:46 PM – 10900 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a theft from an unsecured vehicle just occurred. An 18-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and violation of probation.
IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD
12/9/12 – 3:31 PM – 3200 Katella Ave. – A report of the victim’s check being stolen and fraudulently changed to another payee.
MISCELLANEOUS
12/11/12 – 4:34 PM – 10800 Chestnut – A report of the victim’s car cover being spray painted sometime during the prior three days.
