A baby shark was spotted by surfers Friday afternoon north of the Seal Beach Pier, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Seal Beach police said the two-and-a-half foot baby shark was seen near Ray Bay by surfers at 12:30 p.m., and again at about 1:30 p.m. CBS Los Angeles reported surfers were not evacuated from the water because the shark was not acting aggressively.
