Stalker Replaced Candies With Diet Pills, Woman Says

Here are six odd, interesting or important crime calls listed by the Seal Beach Police Department recently.

BURGLARY

  • 10/27/1982 — 7:17 p.m. — 13th Street — A caller said his or her home had been ransacked during a theft. The Seal Beach Police Department crime lab was sent out.

TRAFFIC COLLISION

  • 10/28/2012 — 12:25 —Pacific Coast Highway and Seal Beach Boulevard — Three vehicles were involved in a traffic collision: a white Prius, a white Chevy Colorado and a blue Honda Civic.

  • 10/28/2012 — 1:34 a.m. — 1st Street — A woman came home to find her candies had been replaced by diet pills. She said she thinks she has a stalker but doesn’t know who it is.

PATROL CHECK

  • 10/28/2012 — 5:15 a.m. — Crestview and Bayside — A coyote was reportedly sighted at Bolsa and Bayside. Long Beach Animal Care Services was notified via their website.

  • 10/28/2012 — 6:05 a.m. — Seal Beach Boulevard and Saint Cloud Street — A man was standing in traffic in a northbound lane of Seal Beach Boulevard.

TRANSIENT

  • 10/28/2012 — 1:45 p.m. — 311 Seal Beach Boulevard — A man was laying the caller’s front yard playing with his zipper.  No further description was available.
