Update: Freeway Reopened After Vehicle Fire Shut Down the 405 in Seal Beach

The California Highway Patrol has cleared a SigAlert for the 405 in Seal Beach.

The California Highway Patrol has canceled a SigAlert for the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Seal Beach, where all southbound lanes were closed for a single-car vehicle fire. The fire required extensive clean-up, triggering the freeway closure. The SigAlert lasted for an hour and half before it was cleared at 3:30 p.m. in time for the afternoon rush hour for Orange County commuters heading home from Los Angeles County.
