DRUNK
- 03/02/2013 — 2:42 p.m. — Ocean Avenue — Three men were in an argument with each other on the beach and then walked to a nearby apartment on Seal Way.
ANIMAL INFORMATION
- 03/02/2013 — 11:03 a.m. — 16th Street — A caller asked officers to check the welfare of a large dog, possibly a golden retriever, left in a car with the window barely cracked. Long Beach Animal Care Services was contacted. The caller called back and said the vehicle had left.
TRAFFIC INFORMATION
- 03/02/2013 — 1:18 p.m. — Pacific Coast Highway and 5th Street — A large amount of water was reported leaking from a manhole on the southside of Pacific Coast Highway at 5th Street. Dispatch notes that the leak is not a traffic hazard. SBPD paged the city department of Public Works and said they were aware of it and would fix it Monday.
BURGLARY
- 03/02/2013 — 2:59 p.m. — Birchwood Avenue — At 2 p.m. a suspect or suspects turned off the power to a residence, and then "partially ransack(ed)" the place. At 4:38 p.m. no loss had been identified.
TRAFFIC COLLISION NON-INJURY
- 03/02/2013 — 3:30 p.m. — 13th Street and Landing —A Green Toyota Camry hit a street sign and a fence and then drove away.
