12/8/12 – 11:11 PM – Lexington and Howard Ave. – A vehicle that was stolen from a nearby city was recovered.
AUTO BURGLARY
12/3/12 – 5:37 AM – 10300 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of three work trucks that were forcibly entered and a loss of property from inside sometime during the prior four hours.
12/3/12 – 6:06 PM – Pine St. and Florista – A report of a vehicle window smashed and a loss of property from inside sometime during the prior two hours.
12/4/12 – 6:41 PM – 10800 Bloomfield St. – A report of two vehicles having their windows smashed with a loss of property from inside sometime during the prior hour.
ASSAULT
12/2/12 – 1:32 AM – 11200 Lexington – A report of a sexual battery by a person known to the victim.
DUI
12/4/12 – 7:05 PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Katella Ave. – A report of a non-injury traffic collision. A 36-year-old Los Angeles Woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
12/6/12 – 10:04 AM – Katella Ave. and Walnut – Traffic stop. A Los Alamitos man was, 45, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. A 22-year-old Los Alamitos woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing narcotics paraphernalia.
12/6/12 – 12:23 PM – 10900 Portal – A report of a suspicious person in the area. A 32-year-old Santa Ana Man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
THEFT
12/5/12 – 5:50 PM – 3600 Farquhar – A report of a catalytic converter taken from a vehicle sometime during the day.
12/7/12 – 9:45 AM – 10700 Oak – A report of a catalytic converter taken from a vehicle sometime overnight.
12/8/12 – 9:55 AM – 4100 Howard – A report of a license plate taken from a vehicle sometime overnight.
IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD
12/4/12 – 3:52 PM – 3500 Katella Ave. – A report of a person posing as a customer attempting to cash a check with fraudulent identification.
MISCELLANEOUS
12/5/12 – 6:49 AM – Katella Ave. and Oak St. – Pedestrian check. A 49-year-old Artesia Woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant and on suspicion of drinking alcoholic beverages in public.
12/5/12 – 11:51 AM – 3700 Katella Ave. – A report of a disturbance at a business. A 43-year-old Long Beach man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
12/7/12 – 12:51 AM – Katella Ave. and Lexington – Traffic stop. A Glendale man 47, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
12/7/12 – 10:05 PM – Cerritos Ave. and Chestnut – Suspicious occupied vehicle check. A 23-year-old Cypress woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing a dangerous weapon and a 23 year old Rossmoor man was arrested on suspicion of furnishing marijuana.
12/8/12 – 12:43 AM – Katella Ave. and Civic Center Dr. – A Cerritos man, 44 was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
12/8/12 – 7:22 AM – Old Town West – Several locations in the neighborhood were sprayed with the same type of graffiti sometime overnight.
