Seal Beach Police, 14 Other Agencies, Crack Down on Long Beach Gang

Officers conducted searches on 10 properties throughout five counties this morning, looking for evidence connecting the Insane Crip Gang to a series of commercial burglaries.

The Seal Beach Police Department was the lead agency among 15 that executed search warrants across the Southland this morning in an effort to crack down on a Long Beach gang.

Not a lot is known right now about “Operation Crossover,” as officials dubbed it, but in a press release, Seal Beach Sgt. Phil Gonshak said the effort involved the 15 agencies, including six SWAT teams, serving 10 search warrants spanning five counties.

Police are investigating the Insane Crip Gang out of Long Beach for a series of commercial burglaries, according to the press release.
