Seal Beach Crime: Ferrari Hit and Run, Loud Skateboarding, Stolen Fridge

The weekly crime summary for Nov. 15 to Nov. 18 as reported by the Seal Beach Police Department.

The following information was culled from the Seal Beach Police Department crime log for the period of Nov. 15-18.

HIT AND RUN


11/15 | 9:16 p.m. | Intersection of Marlin and Seal Beach Boulevard
Someone reported that a black Ferrari crashed into a bus stop and drove off without stopping. Upon investigation, officers found scuff marks on the bus stop but no major damage. The vehicle was last seen driving into Navy housing

DISTURBANCE


11/15 | 5:50 p.m. | Main Street
Police responded to a report of skateboarders skateboarding against a wall and being noisy. Upon arrival, the skateboarders were gone.

11/16 | 6:08 | Avalon Drive
Someone reported a loud party happening in a garage. The caller reported that the party attendees were urinating on the side of a residence.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

11/16 | 2:48 p.m. | Ocean Avenue
Someone reported that someone was driving a black hatchback car on the pier. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

GRAND THEFT

11/16 | 10:39 p.m. | Dogwood Avenue
A catalytic converter was stolen from a man's silver Toyota Sequoia by an unknown person or persons.

11/16 | 10:41 p.m. | Fifth Street
Someone stole a mini fridge and microwave from an unlocked laundry room area of a home.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

11/17 | 5:41 p.m. | Lampson Avenue
Someone broke into a white kia sportage and took a purse from the vehicle.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

11/17 | 6:35 p.m. | 300 block of First Street
A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after it was reported that he was hiding behind vehicles in a trailer park and then jumping out and yelling a passersby.
