Seal Beach Crime: Dumping Hygiene Products, Burglary, Spitting on Cars

The weekly crime summary for Nov. 15 to Nov. 18 as reported by the Seal Beach Police Department.

The following information was culled from the Seal Beach Police Department crime log for the period of Nov. 19-25:

ILLEGAL DUMPING:

11/19 | 9:30 a.m. | Cottonwood Lane
An unknown person was dumping solid personal hygiene products in someone's yard.

BURGLARY:

11/19 | 7:08 p.m. | Riversea Road
Someone broke into a house and took cash and a passport.

11/20 | 5:23 p.m. | 14th Street
Someone kicked in a locked door to the bedroom of a residence and too computers, sunglasses, purses, jewelry and a laptop.

DISTURBANCE:

11/20 | 10:23 a.m. | Pacific Coast Highway
Someone called police to report that a woman was walking around a store screaming about killing people. The woman left the store before police arrived and police were unable to locate the woman.

11/23 | 10:53 a.m. | Pacific Coast Highway and Fifth Street
Someone reported that a man was riding a bike and spitting on passing vehicles. Police were unable to locate the man upon arrival.


FRAUD REPORT:

11/22 | 4:54 p.m. | Seal Beach Boulevard
A caller reported to police that he had received fake traveler's checks on Nov. 18 and had video of the alleged suspect.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON:

11/23 | 6:09 p.m. | Marina Drive
Someone called police to report that a man was in the dumpster area of an alley and was completely naked from the waist down. Police were unable to locate the man.
