An accident in Seal Beach Sunday sent a vehicle in a flood control channel near in Leisure World, but both occupants survived, according to Seal Beach police.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a traffic collision with injuries at 5:12 p.m. at Golden Rain Road and El Dorado Drive, according to a Seal Beach Police Department press release.

"After arriving, police learned that a 60-year-old male resident of Leisure World, Seal Beach, may have suffered from a medical emergency and lost control of his vehicle," the statement says.

The vehicle ultimately landed in the flood control channel that runs along Golden Rain Road, where the 57-year-old female spouse was ejected from the front passenger seat, officials said.

The driver and passenger sustained several non-life threatening injuries and both are currently being treated in local hospitals, according to police.

^^Says the guy who just spelled "You're" wrong incorrectly for the 342nd time. Not to mention he capitalized both "your" & "tool" when neither should have been.

She was ejected. She took off her seatbelt to tend to the driver, who was having a medical emergency, I am told. Stop putting each other down. Thank you.
