Seal Beach Bank Robbed at Gunpoint

Police are looking for three men suspected of robbing the US Bank inside Vons Pavilions at gunpoint today.

The US Bank inside the Vons Pavilions on Pacific Coast Highway was robbed at gunpoint today.

The robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects, including one man captured on surveillance video.

At 2:27 p.m., the Seal Beach Police Department received a report that the bank had just been robbed at gunpoint. The caller also reported that the two suspects had just fled the store in an unknown direction, according to Seal Beach Police Department Sgt. Steve Bowles.

Officers from the Seal Beach, the Los Alamitos Police Department and the Cypress Police Department responded but were unable to locate the suspects. Investigators are looking for three men.

The first suspect is described as a white man with a mustache and long sideburns in his mid 30s and weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt and a tan, zippered jacket, baggy blue jeans, a dark colored baseball cap and dark colored shoes. The suspect had a mustache and long sideburns. He was approximately 5’8 and weighed about 180 pounds.  
   
The second is a Hispanic man in his mid to late 30’s, approximately 5’7 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored t-shirt and a dark colored long sleeve shirt or sweater, blue jeans, a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses and black shoes.

The final suspect is described as a 5’8 Hispanic man with a heavy build and a baldhead. He was wearing a white t-shirt and was driving a 1999 or 2000 Ford pick-up truck with an extended cab, dark blue in color and paper license plates.
