A SigAlert has the north 405 Freeway tied up just north of Bolsa Chica Road, heading into Seal Beach.
The SigAlert was expected to remain in effect until about 5:30 p.m. A red Mini Cooper and a white Ford focus crashed just after 4 p.m. At this point, it remains unclear if there were any serious injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers are still investigating the scene and clearing the debris, which is blocking the No. 4 lane.
