Rain Won't Stop Salon Shooting Vigil
The Seal Beach Police Department will update people on the event throughout the day on the city website, on Twitter and Facebook.
Rain won't stop Thursday night's ceremony to honor the eight people killed in the mass shooting at Salon Meritage a year ago, according to the Seal Beach Police Department.
"Although there is a chance of inclement weather today and into the evening, the remembrance will continue rain or shine," according to an announcement from the SBPD.
The remembrance begins at 7 p.m. at Eisenhower Park, and officials advise bringing umbrellas.
