Updated: Police Find Missing Elderly Man

Long Beach Police dispatched a helicopter to Seal Beach Wednesday in the hunt for a lost and confused man who may have wandered into the Old Town area. He was found Thursday at a hospital in Downey.

A Long Beach Police Department helicopter circled the Old Town Seal Beach neighborhood Wednesday evening looking for a lost and confused man deemed to be a “critical” missing person.

64-year-old Hubert Conley Pulley is suffering from an advanced case of Alzheimer's disease and went missing from his home in Long Beach early Wednesday. He was found Thursday morning at a hospital in Downey.

``He appears to be unharmed,'' Pratt said.

Pulley was reunited with his family, according to Pratt.

Hubert Conley Pulley was last seen at his home in the area of 36th Street and Gaviota Avenue, according to police. As of Wednesday evening, authorities had reason to believe he was in Old Town Seal Beach and searched for him there.
