Police Blotter: Inappropriate Touching and Vandals Smash Firetruck Windshield

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 7/3/11 – 7:40 PM – 11100 Saratoga – A vehicle stolen last week from 4200 Howard was recovered, missing only its stereo faceplate.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 7/9/11 – 7:17 PM – 3900 Green Ave. – A report of a vehicle being repossessed from a locked area.

ASSAULT

• 7/9/11 – 7:34 PM – 10900 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a customer being touched inappropriately by a person inside a business.

DUI

• 7/9/11 – 1:31 AM – 10500 Los Alamitos Blvd. – Traffic stop.   A 26 year-old man from Lakewood was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

THEFT

• 7/9/11 – 4:10 PM – 4300 Howard – A report of two hubcaps being removed from a vehicle during the prior 12 hours.

MISCELLANEOUS

• 7/4/11 – 12:44 AM – 3200 Katella – A report of a child custody violation.
• 7/4/11 – 2:12 AM – Katella and Reagan – Pedestrian check.  A Male, 29 years, of Stanton, was arrested for a parole warrant.
• 7/4/11 – 9:36 AM – 4100 Green – A medical aid call. Death investigation found person died of natural causes.
• 7/4/11 – 8:23 PM – 4700 Howard – A report of juveniles throwing rocks at the Joint Forces Training Base Fire truck, smashing its windshield. Three juveniles were arrested on suspicion of vandalism.
• 7/6/11 – 9:06 PM – 3200 Katella – Traffic stop. Male, 31 years, of Cypress was arrested for a warrant.

• 7/6/11 – 7:29 AM – Enterprise and Green Ave. – Pedestrian check.   A Male, 24 years, of Los Alamitos, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and for a warrant.
• 7/6/11 – 6:01 PM – Farquhar and Cherry – Pedestrian check.  A Male, 29 years, of Lancaster, was arrested for a parole warrant.
• 7/7/11 – 2:49 AM – 4100 Farquhar – Pedestrian check.  A Male, 32 years, of Norwalk, was arrested on suspicion of possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy to commit theft, and a Male, 28 years, of Norwalk, was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft.
• 7/9/11 – 1:58 PM – Cerritos and Bloomfield – Traffic stop. A Male, 40 years, of Long Beach, was arrested on suspicion of the unauthorized use of another person’s identity.
