DRUNK IN PUBLIC

• 6/30/11 – 8:44 PM – 3200 Katella – A report of a person entering a non-public area of a business and demanding a beer.  The person was found nearby after falling off his bicycle. A 29 year-old man from New York was arrested on suspicion of DUI for being under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 6/28/11 – 6:33 AM – 3900 Green – A report of a vehicle taken without authorization sometime during the night.  The vehicle was located about two blocks away with property missing from inside.
• 6/30/11 – 11:43 AM – 4200 Howard – A report of a vehicle taken without authorization sometime during the prior 12 hours.

AUTO BURGLARY

• 7/2/11 – 1:35 AM – 4400 Cerritos – A report of a vehicle window smashed and a loss of a purse from inside.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

• 6/27/11 – 11:19 AM – 3800 Cerritos – A report of a front window smashed and a loss of property sometime during the night.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 7/1/11 – 8:10 PM – 11300 Cherry – A report of a rear door forced open and a loss of property.

DUI

• 7/2/11 – 12:45 AM – Seal Beach Blvd. and Town Center – Traffic stop.  A 43 year-old man from Los Angeles was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

THEFT

• 6/28/11 – 8:02 PM – 11300 Harrisburg – A report of a theft of a palm plant from the victim’s back yard.
• 6/29/11 – 11:19 PM – 11300 Kelly – A report of someone taking the resident’s trashcan.

• 7/1/11 – 9:50 AM – 10600 Oak – A report of a theft of medication from inside the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

• 6/31/11 – 1:29 AM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Cerritos Ave. – Traffic stop.  A 34 year-old man from Artesia was arrested on suspicion of possession of forged documents and a warrant.

MISCELLANEOUS

• 6/26/11 – 1:42 AM – Norwalk Blvd. and Wardlow – Traffic stop.  A 31 year-old woman from Hawaiian Gardens was arrested for warrants.
• 6/26/11 – 4:15 PM – 4400 Corporate Center Dr. – Vehicle check. A 38 year-old man from Los Angeles was arrested for a warrant.
• 6/26/11 – 9:08 PM – 10900 Oak – A report of the victim receiving harassing phone calls from a known person.
• 6/27/11 – 12:13 PM – 3200 Katella – A report of a court order violation.
• 6/30/11 – 8:39 AM – 5000 Katella – Pedestrian check.  Male, 28 years, of Hawaiian Gardens was arrested for a warrant.
• 7/1/11 – 2:12 PM – 5000 Katella – Vehicle check.  A 30 year-old man from Santa Ana was arrested on suspicion of having an open alcohol container inside a vehicle.

• 7/2/11 – 8:20 AM – Ball Rd. and Kaylor – A report of graffiti sprayed on the wall and the playground at 3700 Toland.
