Police blotter: A Sexual Assault, Slashed Tires and a Man Soils His Pants

Los Alamitos Police dealt with several people who were drunk in public and made multiple DUI Arrests.

AUTO BURGLARY

  • 4/22/11 – 5:00 PM – 11000 Ranger – A report of a person forcing entry into the storage compartments of a work truck and taking property.

  RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 5/28/11 – 11:58 AM – 4300 Howard – A report of a person entering a garage and removing property overnight.  Further investigation located the property in a nearby city and a suspect was identified.  A 21 year-old male from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, and possession of a syringe.

ASSAULT

  • 5/27/11 – 3: 03 PM – 10600 Walnut – A report of a child being physically disciplined last weekend.
  • 5/27/11 – 3: 30 PM – 10900 Oak – A report of an adult being sexually battered by a neighbor two days ago.

DUI

  • 5/23/11 – 9:59 AM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Rossmoor Way – Traffic stop. A 39 year-old male of Los Alamitos, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
  • 5/27/11 – 9:39 PM – Norwalk Blvd. and Wardlow – Traffic stop.  A 49-year-old male, of Norwalk was arrested on suspicion of DUI .
  • 5/28/11 – 7:06 AM – 3700 Katella – A report of a person running through the area, frightening people.  The person was found leaving the area in a vehicle.  A 41 year-old male, of Garden Grove, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

  • 5/27/11 – 6:58 PM – 4300 Katella – Welfare check of intoxicated person who had soiled himself.  A 36 year-old male, of Los Alamitos, was arrested on suspicion of being intoxicated and unable to care for his safety.

THEFT

  • 5/27/11 – 1:24 PM – 3500 Cerritos – A report of a person taking box speakers from an unlocked vehicle yesterday.

  IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

  • 5/26/11 – 9:47 AM – 3400 Cerritos – A report of a person passing a fraudulent check.
  • 5/27/11 – 12:58 PM – 3900 Katella – A report of a person passing fraudulent checks against the victim’s business account.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • 5/22/11 – 12:04 AM – 11400 Snark – Complaint of loud party.  A 27 year-old male, of Los Alamitos, was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer, challenging to fight in public, and criminal threats, and a 19 year-old female, of Fullerton, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
  • 5/23/11 – 12:04 PM – 10600 Oak – A report of threats made by a person known to the victim.
  • 5/23/11 – 1:24 PM – 3700 Katella – A report of vandalism with red spray paint applied to a building.
  • 5/24/11 – 3:46 PM – 3600 Katella – Several reports of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at a business during the day and then leaving.  The person was later located.  A 29 years-old male of Los Alamitos, was arrested for a warrant.
  • 5/24/11 – 6:54 PM – 4500 Saratoga – A report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at a business.  A 50 year-old male of Newbury Park, was arrested for a warrant.
  • 5/25/11 – 9:27 PM – Ball Road and Valley View – Traffic stop.  A 20 year-old male, of Anaheim, was arrested for a warrant.
  • 5/26/11 – 8:00 PM – Ball Road and Coyote Creek Channel – Pedestrian check.  A 52 year-old male, of Cypress, was arrested for a warrant.
  • 5/26/11 – 11:27 PM – 4300 Howard – A report of 3 tires on a vehicle being punctured during the evening.
  • 5/27/11 – 1:30 AM – Noel St. and Green – Pedestrian check.  A 36 year-old male, of Los Alamitos, was arrested for a parole warrant.
  • 5/28/11 – 1:52 AM – Katella and Oak St. – Traffic stop.  A 25 year-old male, of Garden Grove, was arrested for warrants.
