No big local freeway closures scheduled for tonight.
Sunday through Tuesday, however, is a different matter.
Here's what routes will be off-limits in your neck of the woods, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority.
Closures listed below will take place nightly, Sunday, October 21 through Tuesday, October 23, unless otherwise stated.
FULL FREEWAY CLOSURES (11:59 PM TO 5 AM)
1) Northbound I-405 Freeway Closed from Valley View Street to Seal BeachBoulevard
- I. DETOUR: From the northbound I-405 exit Valley View Street (turn left on Garden Grove Boulevard), turn left on Valley View Street, turn right on Westminster Avenue and continue west, then turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 on-ramp or the northbound I-405 on-ramp OR continue north on Studebaker Road, then turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp.
- II. DETOUR: From the westbound SR-22 exit Valley View Street and turn left, turn right on Westminster Avenue and continue west, then turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 on-ramp or the northbound I-405 on-ramp OR continue north on Studebaker Road, then turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
2) Westbound SR-22 Freeway Closed at Valley View Street
- I. DETOUR: From the westbound SR-22 exit Valley View Street and turn left, turn right on Westminster Avenue and proceed west, then turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 on-ramp or continue north on Studebaker Road to access the northbound I-405 on-ramp
CONNECTOR CLOSURES (11 PM TO 5 AM)
1) Southbound I-405 Connector to Eastbound SR-22 Freeway (Sunday night only)
- I. DETOUR: From the southbound I-405 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, proceed south and turn left on East 2nd Street, continue east on Westminster Avenue, turn left on Bolsa Chica Road, then turn right on Garden Grove Boulevard to access the eastbound SR-22 on-ramp
2) Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway
- I. DETOUR: From the eastbound SR-22 / 7th Street, exit Studebaker Road and turn left, continue south and turn left on East 2nd Street
3) Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway
- I. DETOUR: From the eastbound SR-22 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, continue north on Studebaker Road, then turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
4) Northbound I-405 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway
- I. DETOUR: From the northbound I-405 exit Seal Beach Boulevard and turn right, continue north on Seal Beach Boulevard / Los Alamitos Boulevard, then turn left on Katella Avenue to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
- II. DETOUR: From the northbound I-405 exit Valley View Street (turn left on Garden Grove Boulevard), turn right on Valley View Street and continue north, then turn left on Katella Avenue to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
5) Southbound I-405 / Southbound I-605 Connectors to Westbound SR-22 / 7th Street
- I. DETOUR: From the southbound I-405 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, continue south on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 / 7th Street on-ramp.
- II. DETOUR: From the southbound I-605 exit Willow Street and turn right, turn left on Studebaker Road and proceed south to access the westbound SR-22 / 7th Street on-ramp
RAMP CLOSURES (10 PM TO 5 AM)
1) Southbound I-405 Seal Beach Boulevard Off-Ramp
- I. DETOUR: From the southbound I-405 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, proceed south and turn left on East 2nd Street, then turn left on Seal Beach Boulevard.
