A 24-year-old Garden Grove man was killed today in a motorcycle crash on the Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Westminster.
Steven Nguyen was speeding west on his 2006 Honda motorcycle when he lost control and collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck about 5:45 a.m. west of Beach Boulevard, said California Highway Patrol Officer Ray Payton.
Nguyen's motorcycle then struck a Lincoln Town Car, and he was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene, Payton said. No one else was hurt.
The crash at Beach Boulevard was reported around 6 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer John Latosquin. The lanes were reopened by abut 8:25 a.m., the CHP reported.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
