Man Reported Driving Wrong Way in Los Al, Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

Also in the weekly Los Alamitos crime summary, officers took in two La Mesa men who allegedly broke into a local home.

AUTO BURGLARY

03/02/13 – 6:26PM – 10800 Pine – A report of a vehicle door lock pried open with a loss of property from inside occurring in the past four hours.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

03/07/13 – 6:12AM – 5200 Katella – A report of an unauthorized entry into a storage container with the loss of property occurring overnight.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

03/03/13 – 3:06PM – 4100 Howard – A report of an unauthorized entry into a laundry room sometime within the last two days.

03/07/13 – 3:55PM – 3100 Lilly – A report of an unauthorized entry into a residence. A 36-year-old La Mesa man and 33-year-old La Mesa man were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possessing stolen property and possessing a stolen vehicle.

03/08/13 – 2:29PM – 3100 Lilly – A report of an attempted entry into a residence with no loss which occurred sometime the day before.

03/09/13 – 5:02PM – 4100 Howard – A report of an unauthorized entry into a laundry room sometime over night.

DUI

03/03/13 – 1:34AM – Katella and Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a vehicle driving the wrong way. A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

03/07/13 – 7:12PM – 4300 Katella – A report of a disturbance. A 24-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

03/05/13 – 1:24PM – Katella and Bloomfield – A report of suspicious subjects. Two 50-year-old Long Beach men were arrested, one on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and the other on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and narcotics paraphernalia.

THEFT

03/04/13 – 5:26PM – 4100 Cerritos – A report of unauthorized taking of property from a back pack sometime within the past several days.

03/05/13 – 10:02PM – 4400 Katella – A report of unauthorized taking of property from the business sometime within the past five hours.

03/06/13 – 10:57AM – 10800 Oak – A report of unauthorized taking of property from a back pack sometime within past the several hours.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

03/04/13 – 6:38PM – 11000 Ranger – A report of fraudulent transactions using a victim’s debit card, which occurred over the past several days.

MISCELLANEOUS

03/03/13 – 7:24PM – Katella and Winners Circle – An officer observed two suspicious subjects. A 33-year-old Long Beach man was arrested for an outstanding warrant, and 34-year-old Long Beach woman warrant for an outstanding warrant.

03/04/13 – 2:51AM – 5400 Katella – An officer observed a suspicious subject leaving a closed business complex. A 30-year-old man of Hesperia man was arrested for possession of burglary tools.

03/04/13 – 10:52AM – Reagan and Green – A traffic enforcement stop. A 52-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

03/05/13 – 2:02AM – Chestnut and Cerritos – A report of a suspicious subject in a vehicle. A 26-year-old Las Vegas Man was arrested for outstanding warrant 

03/08/13 – 6:26PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Farquhar – A report of a traffic collision. A 26-year-old Cypress woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, false identification to an officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance and for an outstanding warrant. A 24-year-old Cypress mn was on suspicion of conspiracy and obstructing and delaying an officer.
