Man Found Drowned at Sunset Beach
Police said this morning that there were no suspicious circumstances involved in the death of Damian Frierson, 19, of Lakewood.
A young man from Lakewood drowned in the ocean near Sunset Beach, authorities said today.
Damian Frierson Jr., 19, was found about 5:30 p.m. Monday near Pacific Coast Highway and Anderson Street, and died about two hours later at Huntington Beach Hospital, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department Coroner Division.
The death was being investigated by the Huntington Beach Police Department, the Orange County's coroner's office reported. Police said this morning that there were no suspicious circumstances involved in the death.
