Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Property After Posing As Customer

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

--10/20/12 – 5:56 PM – 3400 Katella Ave. – A report of someone posing as a customer and taking property from a business.  A 55-year-old man from Hawaiian Gardens was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and obstructing and delaying a peace officer.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

--10/14/12 – 9:54 AM – 11100 Bunkerhill – A report of an unauthorized person entering the rear door of a residence with bodily force and taking property from inside sometime during the prior week.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

--10/19/12 – 3:41 PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Bradbury – Traffic stop.  A Pomona man, 50, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. 

THEFT

--10/16/12 – 2:26 PM – 3800 Katella Ave. – A report of an unauthorized person taking property set outside an office for pick-up by a delivery company.

--10/20/12 – 5:16 PM – 10800 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of an unauthorized person taking property from a business.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

--10/20/12 – 5:08 PM – 3600 Howard – A report of an unauthorized person using the victim’s personal information to obtain credit.

MISCELLANEOUS

--10/14/12 – 3:18 AM – Noel and Farquhar – Reports of side view mirrors broken off from two vehicles sometime during the morning.

--10/14/12 – 9:34 PM – Katella and Lexington – A report of a woman standing on the corner, screaming at traffic.  A 20-year-old Long Beach woman was arrested for outstandin warrants.

--10/16/12 – 6:24 PM – 4300 Green – A report of a vehicle tire being slashed sometime during the day.

--10/18/12 – 7:54 AM – Farquhar and Rochelle – Traffic stop.  A 36-year-old Los Alamitos woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant. 

--10/18/12 – 10:00 PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Bradbury – Traffic stop.  A 42-year-old man from South Gate was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

--10/20/12 – 4:05 PM – 4300 Green – Pedestrian check. A 30-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
