On Tuesday at about 11:23 p.m., investigators from Seal Beach police arrested Cesar Martin Murrieta, 24, at an apartment in Hawthorne, according to Sgt. Ron La Velle.
"Investigators made an arrest as a result of an investigation of a commercial burglary and credit card fraud that occurred at a local business," La Velle said in a released statement.
After the arrest police searched the apartment and found numerous "bogus" credit cards, items that were allegedly stolen in a street robbery, more than 400 credit card "blanks" and a machine used to emboss letter and numbers onto the blanks, police reported.
A stolen car was also found at the apartment complex where Murrieta was arrested.
Murrieta was booked at the Orange County jail on charged of burglary, felony fraud charges and a no bail warrant issued by the Los Angeles Police Department for burglary, La Velle said.
