Los Alamitos investigated a dui car crash a roof fire caused by a bottle rocket and much more.

 STOLEN VEHICLE

  •  4/12/11 – 6:19 PM – 10800 Noel – A report of a stolen vehicle occurring sometime during the day.

 AUTO BURGLARY

  • 4/14/11 – 5:56 PM – 5000 Katella – A report of an unauthorized person removing a wallet from the center console of a vehicle by unknown means two evenings ago.

 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  •  4/14/11 – 6:50 PM – 4300 Green – A report of an unauthorized person entering a residence through a window and removing electronic and other property sometime during the day. Further investigation located the stolen property, and the suspect was identified and then located on 4/19/11. The suspect, a 25 year-old man from Long Beach, was arrested for suspicion of burglary.

 ASSAULT

  •  4/14/11 – 11:47 AM – 3700 Katella – A report that a coworker slapped the victim.
  • 4/14/11 – 7:07 PM – I-605 Freeway and Katella – A report of a boyfriend and girlfriend pushing each other.

 DUI

  • 4/10/11 – 2:12 AM – Valley View and Orangewood – Traffic stop. A 35 year-old man from Pico Rivera was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
  •  4/15/11 – 11:51 PM – Katella and Civic Center Drive – Traffic collision investigation. A 40-year-old man from Los Angeles was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

 POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • 4/15/11 – 4:06 PM – Katella and Lexington – Non-injury traffic collision investigation with one party leaving the scene. All parties were located. A 21 year-old man from Long Beach, and a 24 year-old man from Cypress, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

 THEFT

  • 4/11/11 – 1:48 PM – 3800 Katella – A report of an unauthorized person taking cash and stamps from an office.
  •  4/11/11 – 8:52 PM – 4600 Howard – A report of an unauthorized person taking two license plates from a parked vehicle.
  •  4/14/11 – 8:17 AM – 4460 Corporate Center Drive – A report of an unauthorized person cutting open the fence of a storage area and taking an appliance and metal sometime overnight.
  •  4/15/11 – 11:42 AM – 10800 Bloomfield – A report of a catalytic converter stolen from a parked vehicle sometime during the past week.

 IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

  • 4/16/11 – 6:28 PM – 4100 Green – A report of four checks taken sometime in the past three days and cashed at an unknown location, possibly by an acquaintance.

 MISCELLANEOUS

  • 4/10/11 – 3:05 PM – 4400 Farquhar – A report of an unknown person slashing two tires of a parked vehicle sometime during the day.
  •  4/11/11 – 5:43 PM – 3700 Howard – A report of smoke and flames. Minor damage caused to the roof of a residence and Orange County Fire Authority determined the cause was from a deployed “bottle rocket.”
  •  4/12/11 – 1:18 PM – 10600 Los Alamitos Blvd – A report of a civil dispute resulting in one person being taken into custody. A 48 year-year-old woman from Los Alamitos, had a warrant out for her arrest, and she was taken into custody.
  •  4/14/11 – 6:02 PM – 10800 Los Alamitos Blvd – A report of a suspicious person inside a business. A 44 year-old man from Los Alamitos, had a warrant out for his arrest, and he was taking into custody.
  •  4/15/11 – 9:53 AM – 3500 Farquhar – A report of someone kicking the side of the victim’s vehicle causing damage, possibly by an acquaintance.
