Los Alamitos Crime: Multiple Assaults, School Vandalized

Editor's Note: The following crime calls were made to the Los Alamitos Police Department and listed on the SBPD dispatch log.  

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 03/28/13 – 7:53AM – 3900 Green – a report of an attempted theft of a vehicle with damage to the interior occurring overnight.

AUTO BURGLARY

• 03/30/13 – 8:17PM – 5300 Katella – a report of an unauthorized entry to a vehicle with property taken within the past hour.

ASSAULT

• 03/26/13 – 9:57AM – 3500 Green – a report of a domestic battery that occurred last week.
• 03/26/13 – 11:08AM – 3500 Cerritos – a report of a battery that occurred yesterday between two juveniles. The victim sustained minor injuries.
• 03/26/13 – 6:49PM – Cerritos and Humbolt – a report of a battery which occurred several hours ago. The victim was not injured and described the suspects as being two Male Caucasians, 15 to 18 years old, and 5’10’’ to 6’ tall.

 DUI

• 03/25/13 – 11:47PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Farquhar – a report of a hit and run accident with one driver being under the influence. A 26-yearold man from Long Beach, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run.
• 3/29/13 – 7:24PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Catalina – a report of a speeding vehicle. A 33-year-old man from Long Beach was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

• 03/30/13 – 11:00PM – 5000 Katella – a report of a disturbance. A 59 year-old man from Torrance was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

THEFT

• 03/27/13 – 2:20PM – 3500 Cerritos – a report of an unauthorized taking of personal property from a classroom, which occurred earlier in the day.

MISCELLANEOUS

• 03/27/13 – 5:01AM – 3500 Cerritos – a report of vandalism with damage to the property occurred overnight.
• 03/28/13 – 6:05PM – 3200 Katella – an investigative follow up to a prior incident occurring last week. An 18 year-old man from Huntington Beach was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon
• 03/29/13 – 1:01AM – 4700 Katella – a business contact. A 42-year-old woman from Newport Beach was arrested on suspicion of narcotics paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant, and a 49-year-old man from Huntington Beach was arrested on suspicion of possession of burglary tools and narcotics paraphernalia.
