Los Alamitos Crime: A Fight and Several Car Burglaries

AUTO BURGLARY

• 6/3/12- 4:02 PM- 3300 Cerritos Ave- A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by cutting the lock and taking property sometime during the day.
• 6/4/12- 5:28 PM- 3800 Farquhar Ave- A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by unknown means and taking property sometime over the weekend.
• 6/5/12- 3:58 AM- 4300 Farquhar Ave- A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by unknown means and taking a stereo sometime over night.
• 6/6/12- 9:24 AM- 10900 Cherry Ave- A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle and taking a GPS unit sometime that morning.

ASSAULT

• 6/5/12- 9:02 AM- 10800 Oak St- A report of an assault and battery between four people.

DUI

• 6/3/12- 10:34 PM- 10700 Los Alamitos Blvd- A report of a vehicle blocking traffic lanes. A 30 year-old man from Fontana was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
• 6/8/12- 9:20 PM- 10500 Bloomfield Ave- Traffic stop. A 41 year-old man from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

• 6/6/12- 1:45 PM- 11100 Lexington Ave- A report of a person consuming alcohol on the grounds. A 40 year-old man from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• 6/4/12- 1:08 PM- 3500 Cerritos Ave- Call to assist LAHS staff with a student found to be in possession of marijuana. A 15 year-old girl from Los Alamitos, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
• 6/5/12- 7:15 AM- 11100 Reagan St- Pedestrian check of a suspicious person- A 43 year-old woman from of Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of possession of a glass pipe used to ingest methamphetamine.
• 6/7/12- 11:22 AM- 11100 Los Alamitos Blvd- Pedestrian check of a suspicious person. A 40 year-old man from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

THEFT

• 6/4/12- 10:53 Am- 3800 Katella Ave- A report of several pairs of sunglasses taken from an office over the weekend.

MISCELLANEOUS

• 6/6/12-10:14 PM- 5000 Katella Ave. -Check of a suspicious person inside a vehicle. A 22 year-old man from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of having an open container of alcohol.
• 6/9/12- 2: 55 AM- 10600 Los Alamitos Blvd. -Pedestrian check of a suspicious person. A 40 year-old man from Gardena was arrested for warrant.
