Los Al Police Seek Witnesses to Fatal Crash

Authorities are asking for help from anyone with information about a Dec. 11 collision at Katella Avenue and Reagan Street that left a 51-year-old woman dead.

The Los Alamitos Police Department is looking for witnesses to fatal traffic collision Dec. 11.

According to authorities, at 12:42 a.m. a gray Toyota Camry struck a pedestrian in the road near the intersection of Katella Avenue and Reagan Street.

The pedestrian, 51-year-old Jacki Wray with a last known address in Westminster, sustained injuries as a result of the collision.

Wray was treated for her injuries at the scene by the Orange County Fire Authority before being transported to Long Beach Memorial Hospital; however, she succumbed to her injuries later that day.

According to a statement from police, the investigation is ongoing, but there was no indication that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.

The drivre of the Toyota is cooperating with the police.
