STOLEN VEHICLE
- 10/21/12 – 11:08 AM – 11100 Lexington Dr. – A report of an unauthorized person taking a vehicle sometime overnight. The vehicle was located in a nearby city.
- 10/24/12 – 9:10 AM – 10500 Humbolt – A report of an unauthorized person taking a utility trailer sometime overnight.
AUTO BURGLARY
- 10/21/12 – 10:32 AM – 4200 Katella Ave. – A report of a vehicle window smash and a loss of property from inside sometime overnight.
- 10/26/12 – 11:46 PM – 5000 Katella Ave. – A report of a vehicle window smash and a loss of property from inside during the prior hour.
DUI
- 10/22/12 – 1:25 AM – 11100 Noel – A report of a driver of a vehicle striking parked vehicles in this area and toward 5000 Howard. The vehicle was abandoned, but the driver was found hiding nearby. A 32-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of a traffic collision without exchanging information.
- 10/25/12 – 1:53 PM – Bloomfield Ave. and Marion – Traffic stop. A Cerritos man, 52, was arrested on supsicion of DUI.
- 10/25/12 – 7:25 PM – Seal Beach Blvd. and Lampson – Traffic stop. A 48-year-old Long Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
- 10/26/12 – 10:26 PM – Katella Ave. and Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a non-injury traffic collision. A Glendale man, 32, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
- 10/27/12 – 3:26 AM - Katella Ave. and Los Alamitos Blvd. – Traffic stop. A 21-year-old Cypress woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- 10/21/12 – 3:54 PM – 3700 Toland – A report of suspicious persons in the park. A Lakewood man, 29, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. A 29-year-old Hawaiian Gardens man was arrested for outstanding warrants.
IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD
- 10/23/12 – 7:18 AM – 3800 Farquhar – A report of an unauthorized person using the victim’s credit card information.
- 10/23/12 – 3:07 PM – 3600 Toland – A report of an unauthorized person using the victim’s personal identification information for employment purposes.
- 10/25/12 – 1:38 PM – 3500 Katella Ave. – A report of someone passing a forged check at a business approximately one month ago.
THEFT
- 10/21/12 – 3:49 PM – 11200 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of an unauthorized person taking a skateboard that was left outside a business.
- 10/21/12 – 8:25 PM – 10100 Kings – A report of the theft of political signs and defacement of political signs during the evening.
- 10/22/12 – 7:24 AM – 5200 Antietam – A report of an unauthorized person removing property from inside an unlocked vehicle sometime overnight.
- 10/22/12 – 7:334 AM – 3000 Marna – A report of an unauthorized person entering an unlocked vehicle, but no property was removed.
- 10/22/12 – 8:10 AM – 3000 Marna – A report of an unauthorized person entering an unlocked vehicle and removed property sometime overnight.
- 10/22/12 – 11:48 AM – 11000 Bennington – A report of an unauthorized person entering an unlocked vehicle and removed property sometime overnight.
- 10/22/12 – 3:00 PM – 5000 Antietam – A report of an unauthorized person entering an unlocked vehicle and removed property sometime overnight.
- 10/25/12 – 7:41 AM – 3500 Cerritos Ave. – A report of an unauthorized person taking construction materials sometime overnight.
- 10/26/12 – 12:28 PM – 3700 Green – A report of an unauthorized person removing a cart containing personal property from the courtyard sometime during the morning.
MISCELLANEOUS
- 10/21/12 – 3:43 AM – Katella Ave. and Walker St. – A report of a vehicle striking a fire hydrant. The vehicle was found abandoned and was stored for investigation.
- 10/23/12 – 2:15 AM – 11100 Bunkerhill – Pedestrian check. A 55-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
- 10/23/12 – 2:07 PM – 10800 Los Alamitos Blvd. (alley) – Pedestrian check. An Los Alamitos Man, 18 was arrested on suspicion of possessing burglary tools.
- 10/23/12 – 8:33 PM – 3700 Katella Ave. – Pedestrian check. A 39-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
