Drivers Blame Each Other After Crash

Here are five odd, interesting or important crime calls listed by the Seal Beach Police Department recently.

TRAFFIC COLLISION/ NON-INJURY

  • 10/02/2012 — 8:24 p.m. — Pacific Coast Highway and Main — A blue Volkswagen Jetta and a gold General Motors car collided. The Seal Beach Police Department advised the drivers to exchange insurance information. Both parties said they felt the other was at fault.

DISTURBANCE - JUVENILE

  • 10/03/2012 — 12:30 a.m. — Ocean Avenue —  A group of four to five juveniles were lighting a fire on the sand, being loud and possibly drinking.

  • 10/03/2012 — 2:53 a.m. — A man took a water bottle and an item from the counter and ran out the door. He was about 30-years-old and wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and a black hat. He also had a tattoo on his hand and his neck.

DISTURBANCE – NOISE

  • 10/03/2012 — 7:40 p.m. — Ironwood and Sunflower — A neighbor was playing the drums really loud. It’s reportedly an ongoing problem.

  • 10/04/2012 — 12:26 a.m. — Eight people are yelling and drinking on their balcony. The caller had asked them to be quiet and then they get hostile with her. It’s reportedly an ongoing problem. SBPD officers spoke to the partymembers who said they would comply.
