Hit and Run Injures 3 Bicyclists on PCH

A 46-year-old woman from Alaska was arrested in connection with the collision.

Three bicyclists were injured Sunday when an allegedly intoxicated driver struck the riders on Pacific Coast Highway.

The hit-and-run was reported at 8:06 a.m. west of Anderson Street.

"Witnesses stated that there were three injured bicyclists on the ground that had been struck by a vehicle,'' Sgt. John Scott of the Seal Beach Police Department said in a statement. "The vehicle which caused the accident had fled the scene."

Juli Ann Brown, 46, of Alaska was later arrested in connection with the collision, Seal Beach police said.

Brown was booked at the Seal Beach jail for multiple narcotics violations, a felony hit and run causing injury and felony driving under the influence of a substance. Brown was later transferred to the Orange County Jail.
