'Happy Endings' Graffiti at Seal Beach Business Investigated as Hate Crime

The Massage Envy on Seal Beach Boulevard was the target of vandalism.

Seal Beach police asked for the public's help Monday in finding whoever spray-painted swastikas and other graffiti on a Seal Beach massage shop.

The vandalism a Massage Envy, 12340 Seal Beach Blvd., included "happy ending," and "White PPiDS," Seal Beach police Sgt. Phil Gonshak said.

"At this point we have no idea what that means," Gonshak said, referring to "White PPiDS." He said he suspected it had something to do with white supremacy.

The crime occurred between about 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, Gonshak said.

Employees of Massage Envy discovered the vandalism when opening the business Sunday.

ABC7 reported Sunday that the incident is being investigated as a possible hate crime.
