The city of Seal Beach reports that Gum Grove Park is closed until further notice because of an active fire just over the county line in Long Beach.

Sgt. Phil Gonshak of the Seal Beach Police Department says Gum Grove is often closed when weather conditions are ripe for fire because of the heavy brush.
