Fire Consumes Several Cars at Rossmoor/Seal Beach Apartment Building
No one was injured in the blaze, and investigators are still working to determine the cause.
Four cars and a carport went up in flames early this morning at an apartment building behind the Pei Wei Asian Diner at the Shops at Rossmoor.
No one was injured in the fire at the 12200 block of Montecito Road near Kempton Drive, said Orange County Fire Authority Cptn. Marc Stone. However, the blaze caused roughly $300,000 in damages. A preliminary investigation points to a mechanical problem with one of the cars as the cause of the fie.
The call came in at 6:25 a.m. this morning and firefighters were on the scene by 6:29 a.m. Thirty firefighters responded, and had the fire out within 25 minutes, said Stone.
