England was arrested Thursday in her home in Searcy, AR, by FBI agents. She is charged with three counts of fraud. England allegedly began stealing from the company where she worked as a clerical administrator in 2000 and continued to do so until the sporting goods company closed in 2007. During the course of her work, she was given access to company checks and registers and online accounts. According to the grand jury indictment, England wrote checks to herself and disguised the payments by writing the names of legitimate vendors on company check stubs. She is also accused of using the company’s online accounts to pay her credit card bills.

At the time of the alleged thefts, England lived in Stanton. Callan Western Sales was a family-owned business that operated between 1976 and 2007. The alleged fraud wasn’t discovered until after the business closed and the owners began receiving received credit card statements with charges such as airline tickets for England’s family members. The company owners reported the matter to the Los Alamitos Police Department, which investigated the case with the help of the FBI.
