DUI Checkpoint Yields Vehicle Impounds and an Arrest
Police say several cars were towed, and one person was arrested, at a DUI/Driver's License Checkpoint set up last week in Seal Beach.
More than 300 cars passed through a DUI/Driver's License Checkpoint set up last Friday in Seal Beach, and one person was arrested, a police sergeant reported.
No arrests were made for drunk driving, but one person was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant, and seven cars were towed for different violations, according to Seal Beach police Sgt. Ron La Velle.
A total of 342 cars passed through the checkpoint.
