DUI Checkpoint in Seal Beach Planned for Thursday

Police officers will also be checking driver's licenses from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.

A DUI and driver's license checkpoint will be set up in the city of Seal Beach on Thursday at an undisclosed location from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m., police said.

Officers on patrol will also be on the lookout for impaired drivers, said Police Chief Joe Stilinovich.

"In addition to DUI/drivers license checkpoints, you will also see us making lots of stops during this highly visible enforcement period," he said. "If we suspect anyone is driving while under the influence, officers will show zero tolerance for drunk or drugged driving."
