Driver Smashes Car Into Wall, Arrested On Suspicion of DUI

Also, a man on a bicycle was arrested on suspicion of delaying a police officer on duty, according to the Los Alamitos Police Department.

The following is a list of crime calls from the Los Alamitos Police Department's weekly crime summary for Dec. 30 to Jan. 6.

STOLEN VEHICLE

12/31/12 – 8:33AM – 11800 Reagan – A report of a vehicle door lock punched, and an attempted vehicle theft sometime overnight.

AUTO BURGLARY

01/04/13 – 6:24 AM – 10600 Humbolt – A report of a vehicle window smashed with a loss of property from the vehicle sometime during the early morning.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

01/02/13 – 12:14PM – 3700 Cerritos – A report of an unauthorized entry into a storage unit which occurred sometime within the prior month.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

01/04/13 – 3:55PM – 4300 Farquhar – A report of an unauthorized entry into a laundry room overnight with a loss of coins from the machines.

01/04/13 – 5:08PM – 10800 Cherry – A report of an unauthorized person forcing entry at the front door with a loss of property sometime during the day.

01/05/13 – 11:23AM – 4000 Farquhar – A report of an unauthorized entry into a laundry room with no property lost, about two days ago.

DUI

12/31/12 – 6:46PM – Howard and Maple – A report of a disturbance, and a vehicle leaving the scene of a traffic collision. A 21-year-old Cerritos man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run. 

01/01/13 – 2:34AM – Bloomfield and Myra – A report of a vehicle into a wall. A 24-year-old Long Beach man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. 

THEFT

01/04/13 – 4:14PM – 4400 Howard – A report of property taken from the front yard about one week prior.

MISCELLANEOUS

12/30/12 – 4:09PM – 11000 Los Alamitos Blvd. – Bicycle stop.  A 56-year-old Buena Park man was arrested on suspicion of delaying a police officer in the course of their duties. 

12/31/12 – 4:21PM – 3900 San Bonito – A report of two expended destructive devices (possibly acid bombs) found in the area.  

01/02/13 – 7:59AM – 10700 Walnut – A report of an unauthorized person taking a vehicle overnight. The investigation revealed the vehicle had been abandoned on the freeway, and this was a false report. A 32-year-old Los Alamitoss man was arrested on suspicion of making a false police report. 

01/02/13 – 8:31PM – Katella and Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a traffic collision, and one driver fleeing the scene without exchanging information. 

01/04/13 – 11:08PM – 3700 Green – A report of suspicious persons. Two juveniles were arrested on suspicion of violating curfew. 

01/05/13 – 5:16PM – 11000 Maple – A report of a child custody violation.

If you want to be spied on by your own government, Snowden is bad. Courage is missing in the states. The military have it but not the majority of our mediocre citizens.
