Do You Recognize This Armed Robber?

Police released surveillance video of the Chevron station robbery today so the public can help solve the case.

Seal Beach Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man who held up a Chevron station in March and got away on a skateboard. Today, police released the gas station surveillance video, which shows the robber in clear detail.

According to police, a man walked into a Chevron Station at 2950 Westminster Avenue, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. He made off on a skateboard with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Seal Beach Police Sgt. Steve Bowles. Prior to the robbery, the suspect was seen standing next to a blue Ford, possibly a Focus for an extended amount of time, say police.

According to police, the suspect is a 19-25-years-old man, weighing between 160-170 pounds. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 562-799-4100, ext. 1108.
