Crime: Woman Arrested On Suspicion of Using Fake Money, Real Drugs

ROBBERY

—9/11/12 – 9:12 AM – 10900 Pine – A report of a robbery at a bank.  Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect at this time.  .

AUTO BURGLARY

—9/15/12 – 2:33 PM – 4600 Lampson – A report of an unauthorized person forcibly entering a vehicle, possibly through a pick-up shell, and taking property sometime in the prior two hours.

—9/15/12 – 5:26 PM – 4600 Lampson – A report of an unauthorized person punching a vehicle door lock and taking property from inside sometime during the afternoon.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

—9/14/12 – 10:11 PM – 11000 Ticonderoga – A report of an unauthorized person entering  a residence through an unsecured rear window and taking property sometime between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

—9/11/12 – 1:14 PM – 10700 Oak – A report of unauthorized persons digging through trash receptacles in the alley.  A Seal Beach woman, 48, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. 

THEFT

—9/10/12 – 1:07 PM – 3900 Farquhar – An unauthorized person took the victim’s purse that was left outside in a patio sometime overnight.  The victim’s credit cards were used several times.

—9/11/12 – 4:16 AM – 12300 Vicksburg – A neighbor interrupted an unauthorized person entering two unsecured vehicles belonging to the victim.  No loss of property occurred.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

—9/14/12 – 2:30 PM – 11100 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a person posing as a customer and attempting to pass counterfeit currency.  A 39-year-old Long Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of passing fictitious currency and being under the influence of a controlled substance. 

MISCELLANEOUS

—9/9/12 – 9:27 AM – 3700 Toland – A report of graffiti on the wall and trash cans in a city park.

—9/10/12 – 5:14 PM – 3600 Farquhar – A report of criminal threats made to the victim by a  known person sometime last month.

—9/13/12 – 10:30 AM – 10700 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of an unauthorized person etching damage into a business window last week.

—9/13/12 – 7:07 PM – 10800 Chestnut – A report of an unauthorized person, possibly juveniles, breaking the victim’s Crepe Myrtle tree sometime during the afternoon.
