Crime: Stolen Potted Plants, a DUI Arrest and a Scratched Car

Here's the weekly crime summary for Sept. 16 to Sept. 22 as reported by the Los Alamitos Police Department.

9/19/12 – 8:22 AM – 4400 Farquhar – A report of an unauthorized person taking a vehicle sometime overnight.


9/22/12 – 12:37 AM – 5000 Katella – A report of a vehicle window smash sometime in the prior three hours.  No loss of property.


9/20/12 – 2:19 PM – 3700 Cerritos Ave. – A report of a storage unit padlock being cut and a loss of property sometime in the prior two months.


9/17/12 – 2:06 PM – 11100 Mindora – A report of pry marks and a screen popped off a side door window at a residence occurring sometime during the day.  No entry or loss of property.


9/21/12 – 7:01 AM – Bloomfield and Cerritos Ave. – Traffic stop.  A 23-year-old Anaheim man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.


9/21/12 – 3:39 PM – 10800 Chestnut – A report of several potted plants being taken from a porch.


9/19/12 – 11:31 AM – 10800 Bloomfield – A report of an unauthorized person accessing a business credit account at various locations.


9/16/12 – 11:47 PM – 4400 Howard – Two suspicious persons were contacted in the park with a 4 month old. A 19-year-old woman Los Alamitos woman was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment.

9/18/12 – 8:24 AM – 4600 Green – A report of a suspicious vehicle.  A Lakewood man, 18, was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

 9/20/12 – 8:11 AM – Green and Noel St. – Traffic stop.  A 36-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics paraphernalia and a parole hold.

9/21/12 – 11:54 AM – 3800 Katella Ave. – A report of a vehicle deliberately scratched down the side approximately three days prior.
