Los Al Woman Arrested for Alleged Taser Attack, Spousal Abuse

AUTO BURGLARY

9/3/12 – 5:46 AM – 3800 Howard Avenue – An attempted vehicle burglary was interrupted and the unknown suspect fled.  The window was forced open and no loss was identified.

9/3/12 – 9:09 AM – 10600 Calle Lee – A report of an unauthorized person damaging a vehicle in an apparent attempt to enter the work truck.

9/8/12 – 6:34 PM – 10300 Los Alamitos Boulevard – A report of a vehicle lock being punched and a loss of a purse from inside during the prior 90 minutes.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

9/6/12 – 6:13 AM – 3800 Katella Avenue – An unauthorized person broke open a window at a business sometime overnight.  No property was taken.

9/7/12 – 1:00 AM – 3600 Thor Avenue – An observation of suspicious circumstances at a home under construction led to a foot pursuit of one suspect and a second suspect fleeing in a vehicle.  A lock was broken and a construction trailer was entered, but there was no loss of property.  A 32-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested on suspicion of burglary. 

ASSAULT

9/8/12 – 9:55 PM – 10600 Walnut Street – A report of a disturbance at a residence.  A Los Alamitos woman, 42, was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse and assault with a taser. 

DUI

9/8/12 – 12:51 AM – 10500 Los Alamitos Boulevard – Traffic stop. A 40-year-old Downey man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. 

9/8/12 – 10:00 PM – Los Alamitos and Katella – Welfare check of driver slumped at the wheel in traffic.  A Placentia woman, 41, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment. 

THEFT

9/2/12 – 6:24 PM – 3500 Katella – A report of an unauthorized person taking a mobile phone left on a table inside a business sometime in the prior 20 minutes.

9/2/12 – 7:33 PM – 10900 Los Alamitos – A report of two people posing as customers running out of the business with alcoholic drinks without paying.

9/3/12 – 5:54 AM – 3600 Thor – A theft from an unlocked vehicle was interrupted by the vehicle alarm activating, causing the suspect to flee.

9/7/12 – 8:54 AM – 3500 Cerritos Avenue – A report of a mobile phone being taken sometime the prior day.

9/8/12 – 5:17 PM – 4000 Howard – A report of a bicycle taken sometime the prior night or during the morning.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

9/5/12 – 2:17 PM – 4000 Howard – A report of an unauthorized person using the victim’s credit card information.

9/5/12 – 5:22 PM – 3600 Toland Avenue – A report of an unauthorized person using the victim’s credit card information.

9/7/12 – 1:14 PM – 10700 Los Alamitos – An unauthorized person is writing fraudulent checks against a business account.

MISCELLANEOUS

9/2/12 – 3:45 PM – Pedestrian check. A 27-year-old Long Beach man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. 

9/3/12 – 11:27 PM – 10300 Los Alamitos – Traffic stop.  A 42-year-old Cypress man was arrested on suspicion of possessing burglary tools, possessing forged documents, identity theft and a probation warrant. 

9/4/12 – 11:59 PM – 4300 Katella – Pedestrian check.  A 47-year-old Arkansa man was arrested for a parole warrant. 

9/6/12 – 8:30 AM – Saratoga Drive and Katella – Traffic stop.  A 27-year-old Whittier woman was arrested for outstanding warrants.
